Pediatric sleep challenges include trouble falling asleep, frequent night waking, very short naps and restless sleep that go beyond normal developmental phases. They’re often linked to discomfort, like gas or reflux, or to a nervous system stuck in “fight or flight.”
Sleep often improves when related issues like colic, reflux, constipation or anxiety are supported, because a comfortable, calm body rests better.
We look for areas of neuro-spinal tension, especially in the upper neck, that may be keeping your child’s nervous system on high alert. Gentle adjustments help release that tension and support the body’s shift into “rest and digest.” Many kiddos are noticeably calmer, and sometimes sleepier, after their visit.
INSiGHT CLA scans include heart rate variability (HRV), a measure of how well your child’s body shifts between stress and rest. It gives us an objective picture of what’s happening beneath the surface.
We’re at 360 Central Ave, Suite 1200 in downtown St. Petersburg. Many families notice better sleep within the first few weeks of care, though every child is different.
Our doctors have 250+ hours of ICPA pediatric training, are PX-Docs certified, and care for kids from newborns to teens. Our team approach means Dr. Savy Ford and Dr. Peyton Gallentine look at the whole picture together, including digestion, feeding and stress.
Every child is different, and results vary.
