Conception can only occur when the nervous system is well-adapted and functioning optimally. If the body is constantly in a fight or flight or stressed state, the body is unable to conceive and sustain a pregnancy. Our office has helped many couples with fertility challenges be able to expand their family naturally!

Hormone regulation is controlled and coordinated by the nervous system’s ability to signal and sequence hormones. When a woman has added stress, the coordination of these hormones are altered by the release of cortisol. Cortisol inhibits the release of progesterone, estrogen, and testosterone which are crucial to conception. By allowing the nervous system to better adapt to stress, the mom is able to move out of a “fight/ flight” mode and into a “growth and development” state.
