Office Tour and Paperwork
We want to make sure you feel at home as soon walk in the door! On your first visit, we will give you an office tour so you feel comfortable using any of our family amenities including our huge kids’ play area and nursing nook!
Doctor Consultation and History

On your first visit, one of our doctors will sit down with you and will take an in-depth history to gain a better idea as to the type of chemical, physical, and emotional stressors that may have impacted or impaired your nervous system and how its functions.
Neurological Scans and Digital X-rays (if needed)

We use a variety of neurological scans and x-rays to determine the cause of your pain or discomfort. We use these scans and x-rays to create an accurate picture of what’s going on in your spine, so we can treat it more effectively and efficiently.

These include:

Digital X-Rays: Digital X-Rays capture a picture of the structure of your spine. If needed, our doctors will take a digital x-ray to determine how the structure of your spine has impacted the function of your nervous system. **Note- We do not perform x-rays on expecting moms or children**

Surface Electromyography (sEMG): Sufrace Electromyography measures the amount of electrical activity in the muscles along your spine. Interruptions in the nervous system produce too much or too little electrical activity in your muscles. This scan lets us know how much “stress” that your body is under.

Thermal Scan: This measures temperature along your spine. When there are disturbances to your nervous system, there are temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. This scan detects the condition of your autonomic nervous system that controls your cells, tissues, muscles, and organs. The thermal scan is non-invasive, does not use any radiation, and is completely safe for pregnant/nursing moms, kids, and babies.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV): HRV is quickly becoming the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular health. This technology is a global measure of how stressed the brain and nervous system are. It indicates the amount of autonomic reserve and resiliency the nervous system contains to deal with the abundant amount of stressors in today’s society.

Report of Findings
We base our adjustments on the neurological scan results and x-rays from your first visit so that we can be specific with your care, and ensure that we identify the exact areas of neurological stress.
Care Recommendations

During your second visit, we’ll take some time to get to know you as a person—not just as a set of symptoms—and then recommend a specific care plan based on you or your families needs. You’ll also learn more about different options for treatment, so that there are no surprises along the way!
Your First Adjustment

During the first adjustment, your doctor will explain what they are doing and what you can expect so that you can feel comfortable throughout the entire process. From infants to pregnant mamas, we tailor each adjustment to the individual and his/her specific needs.
